The genre of this magazine is Rock and the masthead 'Kerrang' is not only a magazine it is a music channel aswell which plays Rock which most of the public know as 'Kerrang' as being a rock word. The masthead is designed as looking very shattered and cracked as rock music has a very hard and electric beat. The main picture on the magazine is of legendary Duff McKagan who is apart of the band 'Guns N' Roses' which are a well known rock band. At the bottom of the magazine there is a subtitle which says 'Free! autographed metallica poster part three', which would be very eyecatching to a reader who loves rock and would love something autographed by one of their favourite bands.

The front cover of 'vibe' magazine is a hiphop genre. The masthead of the magazine is called 'vibe' as hiphop music itself has a vibe to the songs, as soon as the reader sees the masthead they automatically know that the magazine is about hiphop music, the masthead is in a large bold font which is eyecatching. The small titles around the magazine are explaining small sections of the magazine so the readers know what will be issued in the magazine. The readers of this magazine will notice that some of the hiphop artists which they listen to are featured in the issue. The photo is of one of the most know hiphop rap artists today 'Lil Wayne' which every hiphop fan will love to hear.

A film is made up of a lot of different layers. The main elements are:

In my case of making a media film, i wont need a distribution company and i would be advertising my film by posting it on my blog, facebook, and youtube.

Romeo and Juliet opening scene

This opening scene of Romeo and Juliet has an introduction of the two sides, the montague boys who have been costumed as california boys,you can straight away know which family the men are from as one of them has a tattoo of 'Montague' on the back of his head and aswell as their number plate which is shown clearly. The introduction to the major roles are shown through pausing of freeze frame of each character. Theres a subliminal message were the camera switches to one of the signs in the petrol station that says 'Add more fuel to your fire' when you see that you automatically know something bad is going to happen. When the 'Capulet' men come into the scene the music is very western and you can tell they are the violent ones, their clothing are very formal suits and they have religious pictures on their bullet proof vests. The nuns that come out of the petrol station both of the groups tease, once the nuns have left the men are faced with eachother.
